But when she returns to her home in Istanbul, she encounters Perisa, an Iranian translator who has come to Istanbul to search for the man she loves, Arash, with whom she is pregnant. During this time, as Nursel attempts to overcome her emotional detachment, Perisa's difficult pregnancy affects the transformation of these two women.
