Unfortunately, times in 17th-century Poland are troubled, and a curse still hangs over Hanusz and his father. Driven by an adventurous nature, Hanusz Bystry sets out for the Balkans to free his friend, Semen Berdychka, captured by the Turks while searching for his father, who has been taken into the yasir.
